Ethel White

"Sis" Ethel Mae White went home to be with our Heavenly Father on February 23, 2021 at Anmed Medical Center in Anderson, SC. after a sudden illness.

Auntie Sis was born on February 7, 1949, to the late Dillard and Hazel White. Sis was a member of St. Paul CME Church in Bowman, GA. She attended Elbert County public school and worked taking care of kids and elderly in her home. She was later employed by Ty Cobb Hospital and Brown Memorial Convalescent Center in Royston, GA.

Preceding Ethel in death are her late parents; Dillard and Hazel White, sister; Earlene Edwards, Bertha White, JoAnn White, Lucy Murray, brothers; Dennis L. White, George C. White, L.M White and LeRoy White, nephews; Bernard White and Timothy White.

Ethel leaves behind to cherish her memories, special nephews; Jerry (Tammy) White, Patrick (Mandy) Murray, nieces; Virginia White, Sharon White, Angela White, TeKelia White, Terri (Mike) Maxwell, Sanjanetta Teasley, and a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Two o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Burial will be private at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The body will lie in state on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 12-4 p.m. at the funeral home for those that wish to pay their respects. The family will be at the home of her niece, Hazel White, 2245 Hickory Crossing Road in Hartwell.

The family has entrusted Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell to arrange her services.
