Obituary for Emily Bruce (Feltman)
Mrs. Emily Feltman Bruce, age 79 0f 24 Cunningham Drive, Hartwell, Ga., widow of Edwin Bruce, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Rainey Hospice House with her family by her side.
Born on October 17, 1938, in Hart County, she was a treatment nurse with Heritage Inn for 27 years. She was a member of Oak Bower Baptist Church and known to many as "Nanny B" and "Mama B".
She is survived by her son, Rev. Russell Bruce of Vesta Ga, daughter, Diana Lynne Andrews (Len Greenway) of Hartwell, Tina Michelle (Keven) Chasteen of Bowersville Ga., grandchildren Joshua Chasteen and Kerstyn (Shea) Chasteen. She had several great grandchildren and godchildren. She is preceeded in death by her parents, William Thornton Feltman and Pauline Williams Feltman and siblings James Delet Feltman, Fred Feltman, Harry and Harrison Feltman, Christine Walters, Odell Feltman Parker, Idell Feltman Andrews and Clara Lee Feltman.
Funeral services for Emily Bruce will be held Thursday, May 31st, 2018 at four o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell. Rev. Ken Buffington, Rev. Tommy Childress, and Rev. Russell Bruce will be officiating. Burial will follow at Nancy Hart Memorial Park in Hartwell Ga.
The body is at the funeral home and the family will receive friends from 6-8pm Wednesday, May 30, 2018. The family is at the home of Tina Chasteen, 196 McDuffie Rd, Bowersville Ga.
Coile and Hall Funeral Directors of Hartwell will be serving the Bruce family.
