Joan Peace Roberts

Mrs. Elizabeth Joan Davis Peace Roberts, age 81, of Anderson and formerly of Bowersville, GA.,  passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022, at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC.

She was born on November 26, 1940, to the late Winfred and Genevieve Davis. She attended Gethsemane Baptist Church in Starr, SC. She was retired from Hart County Hospital where she was an LPN for many years.

Mrs. Roberts is survived by her husband; Harold Roberts, children; Robert David Peace (Sharon), Douglas Edward Peace (Debbie King), grandchildren; Alicia Mewborn, Brandon Peace, Jennifer Reckling, David Ryan Peace, great-grandchildren; Lexie Byers, Joshua Donkersgoed, Macie Byers, Noah Donkersgoed, Kendall Mewborn, Cole Mewborn, Auri Peace, Urijah Peace, Bentley Burdette, Chloe Peace, Claire Peace, and Maverick Reckling and her sister, Genelle Adams. She is preceded in death by her parents, and sisters; Imogene Hill, Betty Scarbora, and Merlene Brown.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Roberts will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at eleven o'clock in the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with Rev. Sam Duncan officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
