Jane Hurley

Eleanor "Jane" Krug Hurley, age 83 of Walnut Street in Hartwell,  passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Pruitt Health Toccoa.

She was born on January 7, 1939 in Berwick, PA to the late John Krug and Gustavia Zettle Krug. Eleanor retired from the medical field. She loved knitting, cooking, reading, teaching Bible class and loving her kids and grandkids. She was of the Baptist faith.

Left to cherish her memories are; her children, Kateri (Clayton) Mealor, and Keri (Michael) Sapp, her brother, John (Barbara) Krug. Granddaughter, Renee Adams (Chris) and great-grandchild, Easton Adams. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert "Bob" Hurley and sister in law, Vera MacRone.

In accordance to her wishes, Eleanor was cremated and no formal service will be held.  

Arrangements are entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
