Elaine Brown

Mrs. Elaine Osborne Brown, age 80 of Cade Street in Hartwell went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Summit Place in Anderson, SC

She was born on April 5, 1941 in Hart County to the late Audrey A. Osborne and Marie McCurley Osborne. She was a graduate of Anderson University and Georgia Southern University with degrees in Psychology and Counseling. Elaine was tax collector in Vidalia, Ga., for thirty years and was owner/instructor of Brown Risk Reduction for thirty years. She was a member of Reed Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by her brother, William Ray Osborne of Hartwell, along with nieces, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Billl Brown.

A private service will be held. She will be laid to rest next to her mother and father at Reed Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
