Dr. William Daniel Charles Bird, age 47 of Clay Brown Road, Hartwell, Ga., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at St. Mary's Hospital, Athens, Ga.
He was born June 26, 1974 in Pembroke, Ontario Canada. He was Professor and Counselor at Emmanuel College. He attended Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.
He is survived by; his wife, Katherine Anne Mitchell Bird of Hartwell, Ga., children, Abeni, Jefferson, Sonja, Jaden and Will, parents, William Daniel Charles Bird and Jean Phillips Bird of Ontario Canada, his siblings, Becky (Shane) Fitch and Steven Bird of Ontario, Canada.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to his children's college fund to Edward Jones c/o David Mitchell, 853 Jarrell Plantation Road, Juliett, Ga. 31046
The family will host a Celebration of Life service at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church at a time to be announced.
All arrangements are under the care and direction of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell, Ga.
