Mr. Larry Donald "Donnie" Kesler, Sr., 74, of Hartwell, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at his residence.

He was a firefighter having retired from the City of Elberton after 38 years of service.

He is survived by his spouse of 17 years, Nancy Kershner; two sons: Larry Donald Kesler, Jr. and his wife Jill of Elberton and Kenneth Arnold "Kenny" Kesler of Hartwell; step-children: James Gunnels, Chris Gunnels and his wife Kaye, Tyler Mahaffey, and Jennifer Damron and her husband Hunter; grandchildren: Mason Kesler and McKenzi Kesler; and eleven step-grandchildren.

Graveside services celebrating Donnie's life will be held on Tuesday, May 10, at 4 o'clock at the Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home on Monday, May 9, from 5:00-7:00p.m.
