Donna Redmond

Ms. Donna Jean Kenyon Redmond, age 82 of Point Road in Hartwell passed away peacefully on Monday, March 28, 2022 at Pruitt Health-Toccoa.

She was born on August 24, 1940 in Bridgeport, CT to the late Don Kenyon and Helga Elsa Riis Lynch. Donna was a retired Registered Nurse and also retired from the Hart County Sheriff's Department as a dispatcher. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.

She is survived by; her sons, Alan (Debra) Redmond, Hartwell, Ga., and Richard (Kimberly) Redmond, Lavonia Ga., brother, Donald Kenyon of Claymont, Delaware, grandchildren, Sara Redmond, Alan Redmond, Jr., and Richard Redmond, III. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lewis N. Tart, grandchild, Courtney Marie Redmond and sister, Andrea Kenyon.

Services celebrating the life of Donna Redmond will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Eleven o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to the Shriners Children's Hospital.

The family will be at their respective homes.
