Donald Johnson

Donald Johnson, age 72 of Seneca South Carolina, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC. He was born on January 12, 1953 in Lavonia Georgia to the late Bob Higgambottom and Fannie Mae Johnson. He worked at Duke Power in the Nuclear Power division. He was a very technical person skilled in mathematics and dedicated to his work. He loved the Georgia Bulldogs and while attending Franklin County High School played the position of running back in the football program. He was of the Baptist faith

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Annie Louis Stowers, son Jonathan Johnson, brother Bobby Rae Johnson, and 2 infant children who passed at birth. 

Left to cherish his memory are children: Cynthia Johnson and DeVone Johnson both of Seneca SC, siblings; Lerome Johnson, Ralph Johnson (Deborah), Oliver Johnson, Larry Johnson (Sharon), one grandchild Chinara Johnson. 

Mr. Johnson will be cremated according to his wishes. There is no service planned at this time.
