Dillard Lee

 Mr. Dillard Lee, age 77 of Hartwell, Ga., passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024 at home surrounded by family.                

He was born February 15, 1947 in Hartwell to the late Limmy C. Lee and Nettie Holmes Lee. Dillard was employed with Savannah Valley Egg Company for 32 years and later founded Dillard’s Furniture Store in Downtown Hartwell. He loved spending time with his family and was a member of Liberty Hill United Methodist Church. Dillard was a U.S. Army Veteran

Left to cherish his memories are; his wife Janice McCurley Lee, children, Anthony D. Lee, Annette Adams, and stepson Marc (Vickie) Johnson all of Hartwell, grandchildren, Luke and Lauren Lee, Cody (Tabatha) Johnson, Abby Johnson, Erin Johnson (Logan Lukhard) and great-grandchildren, Augusta Johnson and Ellie Johnson along with a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Rachel Brown, Maude Hicks, Herman Lee, Christine Segars, Robert Lee, Leon Lee, Sr., Grady Lee and Albert Lee and stepson, Curt Johnson and grandchild, Crystal Johnson.

Funeral services celebrating Dillard Lee’s life will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 at Four o’clock from the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, with Rev. Michelle May officiating. Burial will follow at Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The family is at the home, 750 Old Highway 29 in Hartwell, and will receive friends on Monday, July 8, 2024 3-4 p.m. at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors.
