Denis Paz

Mr. Denis Paz, age 76 of Hartwell, Ga., passed on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023 at Hartwell Health and Rehab.

He was born on July 31, 1945 in Los Angeles, California to the late Mr. George Paz and Mrs. Olga Paz. He was a college history professor at Clemson University and at North Texas University. He loved his job and wrote multiple books throughout his career.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Charles Paz, and his significant other Louise Forsyth.

Left to cherish his memories are his son, David Paz; step daughters Nora Stein and Miki Stein; along with numerous friends and colleagues.

To honor his wishes. Mr. Paz will be cremated. There are no service announcements at this time.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
