Mr. Wade Dean Howell, age 77 of Hartwell, Ga., passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026 at Hartwell Health and Rehab. He was born on June 4, 1948 in Anderson South Carolina to the late Craft Howell and Nellie Mae Brady Howell. He worked for Dunlop and in later years enjoyed being an auctioneer. He loved the Lord and attending Tabernacle Baptist Church where he praised singing the old timey hymns. With the love of his life, Mary Delores White Howell, they dedicated their lives to the love and care of their children and family. He loved the outdoors and hunting in his free time. But most importantly spending time with those whom he loved. 

He was preceded in death by his brother and sister, Junior Howell and Elizabeth Kidd. 

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Mary Delores (White) Howell of Hartwell, his children, Delores Michelle Dye of Hartwell GA, Valerie Page (Jody) of Milledgeville GA, Chad Howell of Hartwell GA, Carmen Howell of Hartwell GA, and Deanna Howell. Nine grandchildren, Heather Dye, Hunter Dye, Jessica Hyde, Michael Osborne, Austin Adams, Audrey Howell, Emily Howell, Anniston Hanley, Luke Roger and also 4 great grandchildren and his sister Joyce Hughes (David).

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 29, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. He will be cremated following the service.
