Allen David Smith

Mr. Allen David Smith, age 65 of 236 Whispering Creek, Hartwell, Ga., passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital.

David was born on January 10, 1957 in Royston, Ga., to the late Beechel Smith and Ruth Chastain Smith. He was retired from Lakeshore Truss Company.  He was a Christian.

He is survived by; his wife, Winfreda Thomason Smith, children, Tannis Smith of Athens, Ga., and Zach Smith of Hartwell, Ga., sister; Karen McEver of Winder, GA. brother; Wayne Smith of Carnesville, GA., and countless nieces and nephews. David was a father figure to countless children over the years.

Services celebrating the life of David Smith will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Two o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with Rev. Gary McCurley officiating. Their will be no visitation.
