David Kent McHann

Mr. David "Kent" McHann, age 46 of Barnesville, Ga passed away on Monday evening, August 11, 2025 at Atrium Health- Navicent Medical Center in Macon, Ga. Born April 22, 1979 in Orlando, Fl he was the son of David and Wanda (Burney) McHann of Carthage, MS. 

Kent was an larger than life kind of guy, who enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his children, being "Pops" to Jackson and Gracie Bird. and his friends. 

Kent is preceded in death by his sister Rebecca "Karlene" McHann, uncle Bennie McHann, former father in law Bill Peavy, and best friend Wade Head. 

Left to cherish his memories are his daughter and son in law  Destiny (McHann)  Bird and Chad Bird, Son Cody McHann. Life friends Gralon and Abbigail Head, Picabo and Larry Lewis.

In addition to those above Kent leaves behind his parents as well as siblings Kelly, Kim, and Keith. 

A Celebration of life will be held at a later day. 

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors & Crematory of 333, E. Johnson Street, Hartwell, Ga.
