Mr. David Wayne Alexander, age 70, of Elberton, GA passed away on July 19, 2026 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center. He was born in Hartwell, GA to the late Frank Alexander and Margie (Cleveland) AlexanderDavid was very handy around outdoor equipment, and thoroughly enjoyed working on everyone's lawn mowers. He most recently attended Cold Water Methodist Church.

 In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Roger Alexander (Brother). David is survived by his wife of 47 years, Janice (Black) Alexander.

 Brother James E. Alexander, and pet cat Molly.

In accordance with David's wishes he will be cremated and there are no formal services scheduled at this time. 

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory of 333 E. Johnson Street, Hartwell, GA 30643.
