Cynthia West passed away peacefully on August 24, 2026, at 1:01 AM. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the beloved daughter of Kathleen Pfeiffer of Elberton, GA, and Carey Williams of Vidalia, GA. 

Cynthia treasured the simple, beautiful things in life. She found immense joy in crafting, family time, and cheering on her beloved Georgia Bulldogs. Her passion for butterflies reflected her vibrant spirit. Above all, she was a devoted mother, Nana, aunt, and sister. Her absolute pride and joy was her grandson, Levi Otis Barnes—he was truly her heart. 

She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Barnes (Elberton, GA) and Amanda Barnes (Marble Falls, TX); her brothers, Jamie West (and wife Tina) and Vernon Williams; her cherished grandson, Levi; and 31 nieces and nephews. 

A celebration of Cynthia’s life will be held at a later date. In honor of her love for the Georgia Bulldogs, family and friends are asked to wear red and black.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory of 333 E. Johnson Street Hartwell, GA 30643.
