Craig Allen Leepart, 67, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026 after years of health challenges. While saying goodbye is never easy, those who loved him find comfort in knowing he is finally at peace.

Born in Port Huron, Michigan, Craig was the son of the late Gordon Everett Leepart and Ingara "Grace" Leepart. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Leepart, and his former wife, Michelle Yvette Leepart.

Craig is survived by his longtime companion, Cathy Smith; his stepdaughters, Ashley Watson and Amber Rhodes; four step-grandchildren; and his sister, Diane Leepart Hungness.

If you knew Craig, you knew he did things his own way. He had a stubborn streak, a unique sense of humor, and a love for the Detroit Red Wings. He also never passed up the chance to listen to Led Zeppelin.

We like to think he's finally found his own Stairway To Heaven.

He will be missed by those who knew and loved him. Breathe Easy Craig. You deserve it.
