Charles Artist, Jr. - Obituary

Lavonia, Ga. – Charles Artist, Jr., a retired Truck Driver and a Methodist by faith, passed away on February 14, 2024. He was born on April 14, 1945, in Danbury, CT, the late Charles Artist, Sr., and Hazel K. Artist.

Charles lived a fulfilling life dedicated to his family and career. His passion for driving led him to become a respected truck driver who traversed many roads throughout his career.

Charles is survived by his loving wife, Linda Woinoski-Artist. In addition to Linda, Charles is survived by his children: sons Craig Artist and Clifford Artist; daughter Candace Elaine Coon; step-children Sandra Ann Knapp and John Paul Woinoski. Also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren: Matthew, Cody, Christian, Miranda, Kayleigh, Lindsy, Devin, Alexis, Casandra, John and Josh; His great-grandchildren – Olivia, Sophia, Paisley, Nicholas, Levi,Timothy, Ernie, and Isabell.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Artist, Sr., and Hazel K. Artist, as well as several brothers and sisters.

A celebration of Charles' life will be held at a later date.
