Cecil Jeanette Baker

Mrs. Cecil Jeanette Weldon Baker, age 90 of Hartwell, Ga., went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Hart Care Center surrounded by her family.

She was born on March 16, 1930 in Anderson, S.C., to the late Levi Weldon and Willie Clayton Rumsey Weldon. She was a homemaker and member of the Abundant Life Baptist Church.

She is survived by; children, Ronald (Deanie) Baker of Vanna, Ga., Perry Baker of Hartwell, Ga., David (Paula) Baker, Hartwell, Ga., and Teresa (Dennis) Sanders of Hartwell, Ga. Grandchildren, Aubrey, Adam, Charity Ann, Kaylynn, Levi, Zack and Jared along with four great-grandchildren survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John Thomas Baker, grandson, Jonathon Baker and siblings, Dorsey, Hardy, and Ennis Weldon.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Three o'clock from Reed Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Mr. Fred Greenway officiating. The family will be at their respective homes.

Due to health concerns and Covid-19 the family will not have a formal visitation, however, Mrs. Baker will lie in state at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors on Monday, January 18, 2021 from 12-5 p.m. for those that would like to pay their respects and sign the guest registry.

The family has entrusted Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Cremations, 333 E; Johnson Street in
Hartwell to arrange her services.
