Mrs. Carolyn Saylors Bentley, age 83, of Canon, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 18, 2026 at her home with her family by her side.

Born on December 20, 1942, in Royston, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late John Saylors and Carrie Allen Saylors. Carolyn worked as a secretary in the financial industry and was a member of Canon Baptist Church.

Carolyn enjoyed cooking and gathering around the table with family and friends. Earlier in life, she loved camping, and she also enjoyed raising English Shepherds. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart and brought her much joy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Garner, Mary Saylors, and Betty Cheek; and brothers, James Saylors, Wilton Saylors, and John Saylors, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Tommy Lee Edward Bentley; children, Brian Bentley (Debbie), Craig Bentley (April), and Cammie Bentley; seven grandchildren, Victoria Tawzer (Adam), Conner Bentley, Madison Bentley, Riley Bentley, Taylor Hart (Ryan), Kayla Dale Moore (Gregg), and Kaylie Smith (Russell); and one great-grandson, Weston.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, with Eric Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Bowers Memorial Park in Canon.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors.
