Carol Williams

Ms. Carol Seawright Williams, age 90 of Hartwell, Ga. passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at a local health care facility.

She was born on April 15, 1934 in Hart County to the late Charles W. Seawright and Cleora Gaines Seawright. She worked in the textile industry for a number of years and she was a Methodist by faith.

She is survived by; daughter, Shelby W. (PeeWee) Brown of Hartwell, Ga., grandchildren, Kevin Brown (Juli), Julina Busby (Baron), Reanna Berryman (Brent), and Ashley Williams. Four great-grandchildren, Andrew Brown, Lily Kate Brown, Walker Brown and Beck Berryman. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harold Lee Williams, son, Mark Williams and siblings, Frances Wilson, Sara Jean Duncan, Ann Ward, Jeanette Coile, Larry Seawright, Ronnie Seawright, Jim Seawright, Joel Seawright, Tom Seawright, Bill Seawright, Jerry Seawright and Baron Seawright.

The family has chosen cremation and she will be laid to rest beside her husband in a private ceremony at Nancy Hart Memorial Park. 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 11-12 at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. 

The family would like to thank each staff member at Hart Care Center for the care shown over the years.

Family members are at their respective homes.

No formal memorial service will be held. Please make memorials in her memory to the charity of one’s choice.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
