Candace Renee (Pierce) Hendrix

Mrs. Candace Renee Pierce Hendrix, age 61 of Hartwell, Ga., passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at home with her family by her side. Born March 13, 1964, in Elberton, Ga, she was the daughter of Gene Pierce and Barbara Lusk. Candace will be greatly me missed by those she loved particularly her grandchildren.

Candace is preceded in death by her husband Danny Hendrix.

In addition to her parents Candace leaves behind her daughters Tiffany Hendrix (Bill Nix) and Lacey Hendrix. Siblings Lisa Crumley, and Tracy Pierce, as well as her grandchildren Bret Nix, Laila McCall, Brody Nix, and Bo Nix.

Per Candace’s wishes a graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 10:00 am from the Elmhurst Cemetery in Elberton, Ga with burial to follow.

Services are entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
