Obituary for Canaan Fitzgerald Lowery

(Courtesy) Canaan Fitzgerald Lowery, age 24, of Toccoa, GA, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 at his home.

Born October 23, 1993 in Atlanta, GA, he was a son of Gerald and Stephanie Smith Lowery.

He attended The Pointe Church and enjoyed fishing, camping, the lake, and his Mustang.

Family members include his parents, Gerald and Stephanie Smith Lowery; brother, Caleb Lowery; grandparents; Shirley Broome Morris of Lavonia, David and Betty Smith of Bowersville, and Eddie and Mary Lowery of Hartwell; aunts and uncles, Windy and Ryan Carey of Hartwell, Jason and Donna Smith of Newnan, Donnie Lowery of Hartwell, Donna Lowery of Royston; and Tracy and Anthony Smith of Eva, AL; and several cousins, great aunts and great uncles, and a many friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at two o'clock from The Pointe Church. Pastor Chad Smith and Rev. Johnny Stowe officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Caleb Lowery, Riley Herron, Donnie Lowery, Jason Smith, Dustin Wilbanks, and Chase Waller.

The family will receive friends Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the mortuary

Flowers are optional. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the Church or Charity of your choice.

The family will be at their respective homes.
