Mr. Calvin Linn Oliver age 86 of Hartwell, GA passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Brown Health and Rehabilitation. He was the son of the late Ernest L. Oliver and Maranda Blakeney Oliver. He was born on September 23,1939. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was a faithful member until his declining health. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Earlene Edwards and a son Dewitt Oliver.

Survivors include his son Curtis Oliver, daughters; Bobbie Oliver, Tracy (Antonio) Holland, Joy (Octavia) Jenning, Jacquay (Lancelot) Stephenson, and a sister, Ernestine White; 17 grandchildren and a host of other relatives & friends. Calvin was an artist, loved drawing and bowling. He was also a restaurant manager. Calvin grew up in Buffalo, New York and had lived in Hartwell with his loving cousin, Carolyn Gaines for last 11 years.  

A service for Calvin will be held on Friday at 4:30 PM at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory, 333 E. Johnson St. Hartwell, Ga. 30643. The visitation will be held one hour before the service from 3:30 PM until 4:30 PM.
