Brenda Kaye Freeman Hyde, age 73, of  Bowersville, Ga. 

She was born in Westminister, South Carolina to the late Colon and Eva Freeman, and peacefully went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday October 24, 2026.

Brenda devoted much of her life to caring for others, a calling that reflected her kind heart. She spent many years working as a nursing assistant in a nursing home where she provided comfort and care to those in need. Her greatest joy, however was caring for her own family.

Brenda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Colon and Eva Freeman, her daughter Rebecca Long, her husband Charles Hyde, her sisters Gloria Harris, Faye Miller and Margaret Crawford and her brother Randy Freeman.

She leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory, her daughter Rhonda Long, her son Brandon Hyde (Jessica) and her grandchildren Brittany Graham, Summer Graham, and Madison Olson (Tim).

Her legacy of love continues through her great grandchildren Landon Smith, Cheyenne Graham, Jacob Mize, Kyrie Riley, Lincoln Olson, Lachlan Olson, and Samuel Olson.

Her hands spent a lifetime caring for others and her heart leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on for generations.

Visitation will be Tuesday October 27, 2026 from 1:30 - 3:00 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be immediately following at 3:00 in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. 

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory, 333 E. Johnson St., Hartwell, Ga. 30643
