Mrss. Brenda Joyce (Risner) Crocker, age 77, of Hartwell, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Hartwell Health and Rehab.

Born on April 20, 1948, in Fair Play, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Edward “Streak” and Ellen (Holcomb) Risner.

Brenda dedicated over forty years of faithful service as a Distribution Clerk with Dunlop, where her strong work ethic and commitment were evident to all who knew her. Outside of her career, Brenda found great joy in gardening. She had a special love for flowers and took pride in nurturing every bloom. Yet, the most beautiful “blooms” in her life were her family. Known lovingly as “Granny,” she cherished her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren above all else. Her love for them was unwavering, and her greatest happiness came from time spent surrounded by those she held dear.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roger Crocker, and her infant sister, Sue Ellen Risner.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Monica O’Barr (Chris) and Michelle Bailey (Ken). Brothers Randy Risner and Eddie Risner (Melissa). Grandchildren, R.J. Bailey, Krystal Bailey, and Chance O’Barr; and her six great-grandchildren, Jayce Bailey, Jaydah Bailey, Brian Bailey, Mason Fleeman, Tucker Long, and Burley O’Barr. Each of them was a source of immense pride and joy in her life.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 1:00–2:00 PM at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel with Mr. Fred Greenway officiating. Brenda will be laid to rest privately beside her husband at Reed Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
