Mr. Bobby Joseph McCarty, age 49 of Hartwell,GA passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025 in Jacksonville, FL. Born August 25, 1976 in Amarillo, Tx. He was the son of the late Lester Brent McCarty and Surviving mother Bonnie Bodenheimer. Bobby was a Pile Driver for Rush Marine.

 In addition to his father Bobby is preceded in death by his son Kameron Joseph McCarty. In addition to his mother Bobby is survived by his Aunt Kerry Wilhite (Jack), his cousins Wes Wilhite, Jerry Wilhite, Sasha Wilhite, and Bandy McCarty (Angel), as well as long time best friend and ex spouse Laura Winegar. 

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Rush Marine for their care for bobby, and their compassion towards the family during this time. 

The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date where Bobby will be laid to rest with his son in Laurel, Ms.
