Bobbie Ballenger (Thrasher)

Mrs. Bobbie Thrasher Ballenger, age 53 of Hartwell, Ga., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Piedmont-Athens Regional surrounded by her family.

She was born on October 5, 1966 in Hart County she was store manager of South Forest Station, an advocate with Northeast Georgia Council on Domestic Violence and member of Reed Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by: her mother, Phyllis Toney Thrasher of Hartwell, husband, Ricky Ballenger of the home, children, April (Brett) Weaver, Anderson, S.C., Alex (Nicole) Ballenger, Maysville, Ga., Andrew (Whitney) Ballenger, Hartwell, Ga., and Chase Moriarty, Maysville, Ga., sister, Robin Marie (Todd) Dahlman, Cornelia, Ga. Four grandchildren also survive. She was predeceased by her father, Joe E. Thrasher.

Services celebrating the life of Bobbie Ballenger will be held on Friday, October 18, 2019 at Four o'clock in the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell. The family will receive friends from two - four o'clock prior to the service time. Rev. Grant Myerholtz will officiate. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to offset medical expenses by going to any Pinnacle Bank location.

Coile and Hall Funeral Directors in Hartwell will be serving the Ballenger family.
