Mr. Billy W. Reed, age 59 of 910 Byrum Cemetery Road, Lavonia, Ga., entered into rest on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Stephens County Hospital.
He was born on December 2, 1957 in Anderson, S.C., he was a machinist at Richmond Gear and was a member of Mt. Olivet Church of God. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post #109
He is survived by; his parents, Winfred and Berta Lee Ricks Reed of Hartwell, Ga., wife, Diane Cawthon Reed of the home, daughters, Rebecca Ann Reed Wilson and her husband, Ken of Hartwell, Alexis Amberly Meeks of Lavonia, Ga., and Kimberly Meeks of Hartwell, Ga., brother, Wayne Reed and his wife, Beth of Lavonia, Ga. Grandchildren, Kensleigh Wilson, Lenzie Wilson, Jesse Jakob Dutton, Skyla Dutton, Gracie Dutton and Micah Dutton.
Memorial services celebrating Billy's life will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Six o'clock p.m. from the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell. Rev. Tim Miller will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Coile and Hall Funeral Directors will be serving the Reed family.
