Betty M Hohman, age 81, of Uninotown, formerly of Hartwell, Ga., passed away Saturday, September 26, 2026.

 She was born in Zanesville, Ohio on July 26, 1945, the daughter of the late Harry and Ruth (Burkholder) Greene. She was a 1963 graduate of Zanesville High School. Betty had been employed with Walsh College where she worked in the Payroll Department, Human Resources and was a Computer technician. She went on to Shearer's Foods where she worked in Human Resources and Payroll for 15 years before going on to DLH Industries where she was Payroll Administrator for 6 years before retiring.

 Betty is a member of the Connect Church and had been a former member of Faith Family Church where she enjoyed working in the Book Store for over 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing and scrapbooking. She had a love for cats.On June 1, 1968 Betty married Herman A. Hohman who survives. Also surviving is her daughter, Gina L. Hohman. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Riley.

The family will receive friends at Reed Funeral Home NORTH CANTON Chapel (801 Pittsburg Ave. NW) on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 from 5 to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at Connect Church (578 Killian Rd. Akron) on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Larry Knight officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Garden.
