Belynda Ann Bailey, age 64 Hartwell, Ga. passed away on January 17, 2026 at Anmed Medical Center. Born on September 22, 1961, in Decatur, GA, Belynda was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother. She spent her later years in Hartwell, GA, where she impacted many lives through her work as a caregiver. An active member of the Eastern Star and the Daughters of the Nile, Belynda had a passion for community and enjoyed giving back. She was also a devoted dachshund dog rescuer, a testament to her kind heart and love for animals and enjoyed traveling. 

She is survived by her daughter, Letha Pettys; son-in-law, Chip Pettys; sister, Donna Richter; and her seven grandchildren: Cheyenne, Rosalynn M. Pettys, Camryn Pettys, Mason Pettys, Addison Pettys, Colton Pettys , and Jeremiah Williams.

Belynda was preceded in death by her parents, Donald James Bailey and Margaret Ann Sizemore Bailey, her spouse, Larry "Butch" Williams and son, Richard Williams.

In Belynda's honor, her family will hold a celebration of her life at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors on Monday, February 2, 2026 at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm prior to the service. The family invites all who knew and loved her to join in remembering the remarkable woman she was.Belynda's spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and she will be missed dearly.

In Lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors to help with the funeral expense.
