Avery Sokol

Mr. Charles Avery Sokol, age 22 of 107 Fernside Court, Athens, Ga. went to be with the Lord Saturday, September 24, 2016 in Athens -Clarke County.

Born October 10, 1993 in Anderson, S.C., he was an honor graduate of Hart County High School and had attended UGA. He was a salesman with Fastenal in Athens and a member of Bethany Baptist Chuirch.

He is survived by; his father, Jeff Sokol and his wife Shannon of Hartwell, Ga., his mother Kay Hilley Sokol of Hartwell, Ga., sisters, Riley and Skylar Sokol of Hartwell, Ga.,grandmother's Carol Mize Hilley of Hartwell, Ga., Mary Ann Mize of Hartwell, Ga. and Frances Walters Sokol of Hartwell, Ga. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Richard Hilley, Charles Joseph Sokol, Jr .and Ronald Mize.

Services celebrating the life of Avery Sokol will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Three O'Clock p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church. Rev. Jeremy Wise, Rev. Ken Buffington, Rev. Ken Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Terry James officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. prior to service at the church. The family will be at the home of Carol Hilley, 54 Glenn Street, Hartwell, Ga.and at the home of Jeff and Shannon Sokol, 62 Fiddlers Drive, Hartwell, Ga.
