Arthur Frankie Chastain

Mr. Arthur Frankie Chastain, age 77 of Lavonia, Ga., passed away peacefully on Monday, May 19, 2025.

He was born on January 24, 1948 in Dewy Rose, Ga., to the late George and Annie Bella Littles Chastain. He retired from Milliken Corporation and loved his classic mustang cars and was an avid walker and loved spending time with his family especially his grandkids and his wife, Gloria. 

Left to cherish his memory are; his wife, Gloria Hughes Chastain. children, Steve (Danielle) Chastain of Alabama, Jason (Mallarie) Chastain. Adam (Hope) Chastain of Elberton, Ga., sister, Elaine Outz. Sixteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren survive. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Melissa Chastain.

Funeral services for Mr. Chastain will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Eleven o'clock from the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Pastor Stacey Lynch will officiate. He will be laid to rest at Nancy Hart Memorial Park. 

The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends Friday, May 23, 2025 from 6-8 p.m. The family members are at the home, 732 Rock Springs Road in Lavonia.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
