Arnold Parham

Mr. Arnold Edward Parham, age 89 of Parham Road in Hartwell, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 27, 2023 at home.

Born on April 3, 1933 in Easley, South Carolina to the late Howard A. Parham and Martha Payne Parham, Mr. Parham was an electrician and farmer. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from The National Guard. He was also a member of the VFW, and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Mr. Parham loved farming and family time.

Mr. Parham is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Maxine Kellum and brothers; Floyd Booth, Lewis Parham, and LeRoy Parham.

He is survived by his wife, Kulajitta Tansavat Parham, children; Giuliana Wilkie of Hartwell, Michael Parham of Hartwell and Joan Strother (Elliot) of Savannah. Sister, Betty Evans of Hartwell. 2 grandchildren; James Wilkie and Ethan Strother.

Funeral Services for Mr. Parham will be Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with Dr. Ken Reed officiating. Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Army. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Bowman.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors.

The family will be at their respective homes.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
