Ms. Annie Ruth Teasley age 83 of Hartwell, GA passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at her home. Born April 24, 1943 in Hartwell, GA. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Rollie James and Mrs. Mozelle (Thornton) Teasley.

Ms. Teasley was a member of Flat Rock CME Church. She worked with the Hart County School System for 27 years as a Custodian. Her loved ran deep for every one she met. She was known for her skills in the kitchen, and making the best Chow Chow, Fried Apple Pies, Pork Skins, and Pecan pies in town. She loved tending to her garden and flowers around her home. Going to yard sales and her favorite store Ollies. But most of all she loved spending time and spoiling her granddaughter and her 5 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son Robert Teasley, and brother Nathaniel Teasley.

She is survived by her siblings Sallie Mae Shiflet, James (Ruby) Teasley, Mattie Lee Blackwell, Millie Teasley, Brenda Teasley, and Timothy Teasley. Granddaughter Kelsey Brown and five great grandchildren Jayden Brown, Kaelyn Brown, Karsen Brown, Dakari Clinkscales and Kamari Clinkscales.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 20, 2026 from 6:00 -8:00 PM at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Flat Rock CME Church with the Pastor Eddie S. Thornton officiating.The family is at the home, 615 Rome Street Hartwell, GA 30643.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors of 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell.
