Amber Kelley

Amber Sue Kelley was born in Anderson, South Carolina on May 17, 1993, and entered into rest in Elberton, Georgia on February 21, 2022, at the age of twenty-eight.

Amber was most proud of her three children: Ryder Lee (10), Marilyn Jean (5), and Hollie Wren (4), and they were the lights of their Mama's eyes. She was educated in the Elbert County School System and excelled at anything she set her mind to do. Amber loved drawing and was very talented at doing so. A lover of nature, she could often be found outdoors exploring or reading a book of any kind. She was an avid anime cartoon fan. Above all, she loved her family and never missed an opportunity to express her love to them. Amber had previously worked at Bubba Foods and Pilgrims Pride; however, her favorite job was at Dunkin' Donuts.

In addition to her three children, she is survived by her parents, Hollie Sue Hill Shaver and Michael Shaver of Elberton and Jason Powell Kelley of Milledgeville; siblings: Sydney Shaver Dove and Jonathan Dove of Elberton, Jacob Shaver of Elberton, Tiffany Shaver of Uganda Africa, and Shannon Drewry of Virginia; grandparents; Melvin and Deborah Hart Hill of Dewy Rose, Melissa Weill of Kentucky, and Randy and Debbie Kelley of Cornelia; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Amber is preceded in death by her grandparents: Robert Harold Powell and Marilyn Jeanette Powell, and Louis and Gertie Shaver.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 28, from 6:00-8:00p.m. at Berry Funeral Home. At other hours the family will be at the home of Mike and Hollie Shaver, Green Acres Road in the Rock Branch Community.

Funeral services celebrating Amber's life will be held on Tuesday, March 1, at 2 o'clock at Assembly Church in Hartwell with the Revs. Roland Molina and Chris Page officiating.

She will be laid to rest at the Memorial Garden of Prayer with Dustin Chappelear, Dawson Locke, Jacob Shaver, Reagan Chappelear, Chandler Henson, and Michael Grizzell honored as pallbearers.
