Amanda "Mandy" Belle Smith

Amanda "Mandy" Belle Smith, age 65, of Hartwell, GA, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 31, 2025. Born in Phoenix, AZ, she was the daughter of the late Albert Sholdes and Marjorie Sue Sanders.

Mandy worked as a Laser Optic Technician. She had a deep love for the outdoors and cherished all animals, especially her beloved feline companions. Her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Derryl Glenn Smith, and her brother, Stephen Sholdes.

Mandy is lovingly remembered by her sisters, Christine Rice (James) and Vickie Williams (Gary) of Hartwell, GA; her nephew, Ben Latter (Naomi); her niece, Branndi Greer (Johnny); and her cherished Shih Tzu Niece, Bunny, who brought her endless joy.

In accordance with her wishes, Mandy will be cremated, and no formal services are scheduled at this time.

Services have been entrusted to Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Crematory, 333 E. Johnson Street, Hartwell, GA.
