Alice Swilley

Mrs. Alice Ginn Byrum Swilley, age 79 of Hartwell, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Rainey Hospice House.

She was born in Royston GA on February 26,1944.  She was a member of Hartwell Church of God and loved spending time with family and friends.

Left to cherish her memories; her spouse Darwin Swilley, children Teresa Byrum Wilson (fiance' Bradley Pressley) of Anderson, Steven Byrum of Hartwell and daughter Jody Swilley Bell.  Siblings; Robert Ginn (Angie) of Anderson SC and Albert Ginn of Hartwell.  Five grandchildren, one great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Belvin and Martha Ginn, first husband, Douglas J. Byrum, a sister Darthy Ginn Morris, brother Henry Ginn, sisters in Law Martha Ginn and Lynn Ginn.  

To honor her wishes, Alice will be cremated. Please omit flowers and memorial contributions may be made to the family.

No service is planned at this time. A private celebration of life will be planned in the future by the family
