My son & I went to see Mr. Lewis at the nursing home on Christmas Day, thinking we would be a blessing to him and bring a gift and a stocking- instead he was a huge blessing to us! He was in bed when we visited him but was waking up. Since we took him new slippers I went to the nursing station to get scissors to cut apart the ticket, and he was talking to my son, so sweetly. We talked a few minutes, and he told us of his family; we thanked him for his military service. We went to leave, and he asked if he could pray for our family. It was such a precious sweet sincere prayer and the blessing became ours! God Bless all the family and friends.
